Chanakya ERP software is Compatible with every version of windows

Let's See how to install Chanakya ERP in windows 7 and XP

Step : 1

• Search for www.chanakyaerp.in in google
• Click On Downloads
• Download Chanakya Setup and Database as per compatible to your computer.

Step : 2

Once you have downloaded both of zipped applications, unzip that..

First, start your installation with database "SQLEXPRESS"

Step : 3

• Click on "SQLEXPRESS"
• Run as Administrator 

After your clicking on Run as Administrator installation of your software starts within 1sec.

Step : 4

• Click On Installation

After the status bar filled with green color 

Step : 5

• Click on OK

Again a new window will popped up 

Step : 6

• Click on "I accept the license" 
• "Next button" will be highlighted
• Click on "Next Button" 

again a new window will popped up

Step : 7

• Click On Next

again new window will popped up

Step : 8

• Click On Next

again a new window will popped up

Step : 9

• Click on Next

again a new window will popped up

Step : 10

• Click on "select all  Button"
• Click on "Next Button"

again a new window will popped up

Step : 11

• Click on "Next Button"

again a new window will popped up 

Step : 12

again a new window will popped up

Click on "use the same account for all SQL server services"

a small window will popped up on the same window.

• Click on Account Name option

You will get two options

• NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICES
• NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
• Click on "Ok Button"
• Click on "Next Button"

Step : 13

again a new window will popped up

• Click on "Add Current User"
• Click on "Next Button"

again a new window will popped up

Step : 14

• Click on "Next Button"

That's it your SQL database is installed 

Step : 15

Click on "Close Button"

Step : 16

• Open Chanakya ERP folder
• Right Click on Setup
• Run as Administrator

• Click on "Accept Button"

again a new window will popped up

once this status bar is filled again a new window will popped up automatically

• Click on "Next Button"

Step : 18

• Choose Everyone
• Click on "Next Button"

Again a new window will popped up with a message of 

Chanakya ERP has been successfully installed

Note : while installing SQLEXPRESS ON window 7 and xp you may received an error as like this

Just follow Step : 12 your error will be resolved.

After Successful Installation of Chanakya ERP software there are some basic steps to follow regarding software settings.

Licence Activate

• Click on License Activate/Activate to activate your 5 Days Demo or Licensed/Purchased Version, in 5-Days Demo Case you have to fill your Details of your Firm/Company and Enter Correct Mobile Number and Email ID for OTP verification
• In Purchased Version user will get the Licensed ID and Password on their Email ID (User will get one Doc. form in which they have to fill up all the Correct details of their Company/Firm with correct Mobile Number and Email ID)
• After receiving Licensed ID and Password on mail, you have to Click on Activate Licence and Enter your Licensed ID and Password to complete the Process.

• After that Click on Data source to Validate and Save the Database as "Localhost" for single system and "IP Address" or "System Name" of Server in Client system for Server-client Based System

• Software will Restart after above process and then Press "F11" to Sink Company details (For Demo Version), and for Licensed Version Press "F2" to Create New Company and then Sync the company details By pressing "F11" Key 
• After All the Process completed above, Software will Restart and now It is ready for use. By Default Login Id and Password is "admin"every letter in small case, as shown in below image

• After Login there are some Basic Setting in software which is to be implemented first and then you can work on it. 
• Create your Financial Year and User list with Permission Option, Set it and Restart your Software, after Logout and then Login again (as shown in below image)

• Create GST group.
• Apply Applicable GST on created GST Group
• Create Billing Groups
• Set Printing/Invoice Format Settings
• Set Document/Bill Number
• Set Your Billing Footer Settings

After All the above Settings your Software is Now Ready for use.
